The Divide - Divide by Zero EP
Four techno tracks which cover grinding banging beats to deep dubstep and on to very atmospheric electro! The Divide has a series of releases on imprints such as Jerk, Fine Audio, Template and Blackout Audio.

Recommends
Slick DJ - SINGLE OF THE MONTH: The Divide – Divide by Zero (R3tox Digital) With a string of great records under his belt, The Divide aka Leeds based Daniel Furniss, has been notably quiet over the last few years. Luckily though there has been no early retirement, with tracks here such as "Hazard" and "Earth Worx" being welcome reminders of how good hard techno can still sound. Forget all the distorted and bit reduced drum tracks out there – this is raucous, analogue sounding destruction that treads the distorted line, but in a silkier, more skilful production style to that of most of his peers. Elsewhere the dark, uplifting electro of "I Lift It" and menacing, edit heavy dubstep of "Broken Steppa" add good variety to this EP. Quite simply, it's a corker! 9/10(SS)
Featured in the TID top 20 in February 2008.
Played by Apaul in his Top Ten for Feb
Trevor Rockcliffe -"Hazard" on the Divide by zero ep rocks.
Bas Mooy - Really liking the Divide's - Earth Worx!

Avex Axiom - Super Death Grip EP
Tough minimal techno. Avex spent most of last summer touring europe and this EP is a reflection of the hectic time he experienced. Blips, jumps, funks and stabs make up this triple techno tracker.
